About Us
adjective — robust; capable of enduring difficult conditions.
We named ourselves after a word that means something. Your signage should be hardy — built to last, designed to perform, impossible to ignore. So should the people who make it.
Our Story
Hardy Sign Design exists because small businesses deserve better than clip art and guesswork. We're a team of three with advanced degrees in graphic design and photography, over twenty years of combined experience, and a genuine stake in the communities we serve.
Before we were Hardy, we were designing covers for national magazines, building brand identities for startups, and producing print campaigns for companies across the country. We brought all of that experience to Leland, NC because we believe local businesses should have access to the same caliber of design as anyone else.
We serve Brunswick County, New Hanover County, and Pender County — the tri-county area — from our shop in Leland. Whether you need a single set of business cards or a full vehicle wrap, the process is the same: listen carefully, design intentionally, print flawlessly.
What We Bring
Advanced degrees and deep expertise in visual communication. Every project starts with design that works.
Professional product and commercial photography that gives your print materials the edge they need.
From business cards to building wraps, we control quality from file to finish.
Logos, color systems, and visual identities that translate across every medium your business touches.
Our Approach
Every project gets original design work. We don't use stock templates or cookie-cutter layouts. Your business is unique — your signage and print materials should reflect that.
We work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10am to 4pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays are by appointment only — reserved for focused design work, press checks, and installations. This structure lets us give every project the attention it deserves.
Built to Last
You've seen it — the banner that curls after two weeks in a window. The vehicle wrap bubbling in the Carolina heat. The business card that feels like it came out of a home printer. That's what happens when the work isn't hardy.
Your business survives things that would break most people. Late nights, slow seasons, impossible customers. The sign on your door and the card in your hand should be able to take a beating too.
We make things that hold up — because we understand what it takes to build something that lasts.
